Permax Side Effects Report #5260735-8
Permax side effect was reported by a Physician from NETHERLANDS on Feb 09, 2007. Male patient, 78 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Permax. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: apnoea, bradycardia, depressed level of consciousness, hyperkinesia, hyperthermia. Permax dosage: 1 MG; QID; 0.5 MG;BID. During the same period patient was treated with COMTAN, SELEGILNE HYDROCHLORIDE, SYMMETREL, FLUDROCORTISONE ACETATE, OXAZEPAM, PANTOZOL, MAALOX FAST BLOCKER. Patient died on 01/02/2007.

Male patient, 78 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Permax. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: apnoea, autonomic failure syndrome, blood culture positive, bradycardia, colon cancer, constipation , depressed level of consciousness, endocarditis , hepatic function abnormal. Permax dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with COMTAN, SELEGILINE HYDROCHLORIDE, SYMMETREL, FLUDROCORTISONE ACETATE, OXAZEPAM, PANTOZOL, MAALOX FAST BLOCKER. Patient died on 01/20/2007.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac disorder, condition aggravated, depressed level of consciousness, neuroleptic malignant syndrome. Permax dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LEVODOPA, PRAMIPEXOLE DIHYDROCHLORIDE, SELEGILINE HYDROCHLORIDE, AMANTADINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , basedow's disease, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, congestive cardiomyopathy, depressed level of consciousness, diabetes mellitus, dyspnoea, ejection fraction decreased, neuroleptic malignant syndrome. Permax dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LEVODOPA, PRAMIPEXOLE DIHYDROCHLORIDE, SELEGILINE HYDROCHLORIDE, AMANTADINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/03/2006.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amnesia, bedridden, depressed level of consciousness, difficulty in walking, eye movement disorder, hypotonia, muscle rigidity, nuchal rigidity. Permax dosage: 750 MG DAY. During the same period patient was treated with CARBIDOPA W, SELEGILINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
