Permax side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Sept 21, 2005. Male patient, 87 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease
and was treated with Permax. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood albumin decreased, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood sodium decreased, cardiovascular disorder, decreased appetite, disseminated intravascular coagulation, malnutrition, multi-organ failure, pneumonia . Permax dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SELEGILINE, CARBIDOPA AND LEVODOPA, DROXIDOPA. Patient was hospitalized. and was treated with Permax. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aortic valve incompetence, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood ph increased, constipation , decreased appetite, gastritis, hepatic function abnormal, nail tinea, neuroleptic malignant syndrome. Permax dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FAMOTIDINE, CARBIDOPA AND LEVODOPA, SYMMETREL, LEVOTHYROXINE, SERMION. Patient was hospitalized.
