Periostat side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on May 18, 2005. Female patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with periodontitis and was treated with Periostat. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dysphagia, hypersensitivity, myocardial infarction. Periostat dosage: 20 MG, BID, PER ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CALCIUM SUPPLEMENT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
