Periostat side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on July 06, 2007. Male patient, 47 years of age, was diagnosed with periodontal disease and was treated with Periostat. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, bradycardia, hypertension, hypotension, syncope. Periostat dosage: 20 MG, BID, PO. During the same period patient was treated with ZYRTEC. Patient recovered.
