Pergolide and pulmonary hypertension Patient Reports February 12, 2012

Pergolide Side Effects Report #5584488-9
Pergolide side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Mar 27, 2007. Male patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Pergolide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, hyponatraemia, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis , pulmonary hypertension , right ventricular failure, subileus. Pergolide dosage: 2 MG;QD;PO. During the same period patient was treated with CARBIDOPA, ENTACAPONE, LEVODOPA, PLAVIX, IKOREL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/20/2007.

Male patient, 61 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease  and was treated with Pergolide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aortic valve incompetence, cardiac valve disease, chordae tendinae rupture, mitral valve incompetence, pleural effusion, pulmonary hypertension , tricuspid valve incompetence. Pergolide dosage: 2.25 MG; QD. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: mitral valve disease, pulmonary hypertension , tricuspid valve incompetence. Pergolide dosage: 1 MG/3 DAY. During the same period patient was treated with MODOPAR, SINEMET, CLONAZEPAM, CELESTONE, APOKINON. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with ENDOTELON, LEVOTHYROXINE, LEXOMIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
