Pergolide side effect was reported by a Physician from on Feb 25, 2005. Male patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with parkinson's disease What is  parkinson's disease and was treated with Pergolide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aortic atherosclerosis, aortic dilatation, aortic valve incompetence, cardiac failure, cardiomegaly, dyspnoea, oedema peripheral, palpitations, ventricular hypertrophy. Pergolide dosage: 3 MG DAY. During the same period patient was treated with MODOPAR, MANTADIX, COMTAN, ANAFRANIL, DEPAKOTE, ZOLPIDEM TARTRATE, MOTILIUM. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety What is  anxiety, aortic valve incompetence, cardiac failure, dyspnoea, dystonia What is  dystonia, mitral valve incompetence, oedema peripheral, tricuspid valve disease, ventricular hypertrophy. Pergolide dosage: 4.75 MG;DAILY;ORAL ; 6 MG;DAILY;ORAL ; 8 MG;DAILY;ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with CITALOPRAM HYDROBROMIDE, AMANTADINE, SELEGILINE, LEVODOPA, OXAZEPAM, ZOLPIDEM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
