Pentothal side effect was reported by a Physician from KOREA, DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF on Aug 11, 2005. Female patient, 21 years of age, was diagnosed with intracranial pressure increased and was treated with Pentothal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood potassium increased, bradycardia, brain oedema, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, computerised tomogram abnormal, condition aggravated, hypokalaemia. Pentothal dosage: 5 MG/KG, INTRAVENOUS : 5 MG/KG, PER HOUR, CONTINUOUS INFUSION. Patient recovered.

Pentothal side effect was reported by a Physician from BELGIUM on Oct 13, 2008. Female patient, 47 years of age, was treated with Pentothal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, creutzfeldt-jakob disease What is  creutzfeldt-jakob disease, electroencephalogram abnormal, false negative laboratory result. Pentothal dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PROPOFOL, PHENYTOIN, VALPROATE, ACYCLOVIR, LEVETIRACETAM, GABAPENTIN, PREGABALIN. Patient recovered.
