Pentothal Side Effects Report #5859106-2
Pentothal side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from NORWAY on Aug 13, 2008. Male patient, 41 years of age, weighting 297.6 lb, was diagnosed with induction of anaesthesia, endotracheal intubation and was treated with Pentothal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bronchospasm, flushing, oxygen saturation decreased, tachycardia, urticaria. Pentothal dosage: 500 MG, 1 IN 1 DOSE, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with SUXAMETHONIUM, FENTANYL. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with NIMBEX, CURACIT, FENTANYL, SEVOFLURAN BAXTER. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with SUFENTANIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
