Pentostatin Side Effects Report #5242045-8
Pentostatin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 31, 2007. Male patient, 25 years of age, was diagnosed with large granular lymphocytosis and was treated with Pentostatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bacteraemia, neutropenia, pneumonia necrotising, serratia infection. Pentostatin dosage: 4 MG/M2 WEEKLY IV. During the same period patient was treated with CAMPATH, MORPHINE, VALTREX, FLAGYL, BACTRIM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bacteraemia, neutropenia, pneumonia , pneumonia necrotising, serratia infection. Pentostatin dosage: 4 MG/M2 WEEKLY IV. During the same period patient was treated with CAMPATH, MORPHINE, VALTREX, FLAGYL, BACTRIM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/06/2005.

Pentostatin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 17, 2008. Male patient, 69 years of age, weighting 143.0 lb, was treated with Pentostatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspiration pleural cavity abnormal, condition aggravated, coronary artery bypass , diarrhoea, hypoxia, neutropenia, oedema peripheral, pancytopenia, pleural effusion. Pentostatin dosage: 7.24 MG 3/WK IV. During the same period patient was treated with CYTOXAN, COMPAZINE, TOPROL, LIPITOR, PRILOSEC, ASPIRIN, NIACIN, FEOSOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
