Male patient, 57 years of age, weighting 190.0 lb, was diagnosed with crohn's disease  and was treated with Pentasa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, back pain , chest pain , headache , neck pain, pneumonia , rash , weight decreased. Pentasa dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
