Pentasa side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Apr 19, 2005. Female patient, 67 years of age, weighting 168.0 lb, was diagnosed with crohn's disease  and was treated with Pentasa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood potassium decreased, diarrhoea, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, hypotension, muscle spasms. Pentasa dosage: 1000 MG, 4X/DAY: QID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ENTOCORT, BISOPROLOL W, CALCIUM, LASIX. Patient recovered.
