Female patient, 67 years of age, weighting 168.0 lb, was diagnosed with crohn's disease  and was treated with Pentasa. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood potassium decreased, diarrhoea, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased, hypotension, muscle spasms. Pentasa dosage: 1000 MG, 4X/DAY: QID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ENTOCORT, BISOPROLOL W, CALCIUM, LASIX. Patient recovered.
