Pentamidine Side Effects Report #5397537-8
Pentamidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 24, 2007. Male patient, 38 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumocystis jiroveci infection and was treated with Pentamidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood amylase increased, lipase increased. Pentamidine dosage: 262 MG DAILY IV. During the same period patient was treated with ATENOLOL, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, PREDNISONE, MOXIFLOXACIN, PROTONIX, BACTRIM, ALBUTEROL, ATROVENT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
