Pentamidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 13, 2009. Female patient, weighting 33.51 lb, was diagnosed with pneumocystis jiroveci infection, prophylaxis and was treated with Pentamidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastroenteritis viral, gastrointestinal motility disorder, graft versus host disease, pancreatitis. Pentamidine dosage: 150 MG ONCE A MONTH INHAL. During the same period patient was treated with PENTAMIDINE ISETHIONATE, PENTAMIDINE ISETHIONATE, PENTAMIDINE ISETHIONATE, VALACYCLOVIR, VENOGLOBULIN, NYSTATIN, HYDROCORTISONE TOPICAL CREAM, FLUCONAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
