Pentamidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 06, 2005. Male patient was diagnosed with pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia and was treated with Pentamidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: catheter related complication, deep vein thrombosis
. Pentamidine dosage: 210 MG IV Q 24 H. During the same period patient was treated with TENOFOVIR, RITONAVIR, ATANAZAVIR, ETHAMBUTOL, ATOVAQUONE, BACTRIM, ZIDOVUDINE, AZITHROMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
