and was treated with Pentamidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest
, cardio-respiratory arrest, hypotension, ventricular fibrillation. Pentamidine dosage: 210MG DAILY IV DRIP. Patient died on 05/05/2006.Pentamidine Side Effects Report #4586823-7
Pentamidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Feb 17, 2005. Male patient, 89 years of age, was diagnosed with infection prophylaxis and was treated with Pentamidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardio-respiratory arrest, dyspnoea, electromechanical dissociation. Pentamidine dosage: 300 MG MONTHLY RESPIRATOR. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, BUDESONIDE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, IPRATROPIUM BROMIDE, LISINOPRIL, NAPROXEN, PANTOPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
