Pentamidine Side Effects Report #5096952-X
Pentamidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 31, 2006. Male patient, 34 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia, prophylaxis and was treated with Pentamidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bronchospasm, cough, dyspnoea, salivary hypersecretion. Pentamidine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PENTAMIDINE ISETHIONATE, PENTAMIDINE ISETHIONATE. Patient recovered.

Pentamidine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 27, 2005. Male patient, 62 years of age, weighting 151.5 lb, was diagnosed with antibiotic prophylaxis and was treated with Pentamidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bronchospasm. Pentamidine dosage: 300MG ONCE INHAL. During the same period patient was treated with AZATHIOPRINE, CIPROFLOXACIN, CYCLOSPORINE, DIGOXIN, LEVALBUTEROL, FLUCONAZOLE, FUROSEMIDE, IPRATROPRIUM. Patient recovered.
