Penicillin Side Effects Report #4708775-9
Penicillin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED KINGDOM on June 21, 2005. Male patient, 68 years of age, was diagnosed with endocarditis , ulcer  and was treated with Penicillin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, bleeding time prolonged, blood creatinine increased, epistaxis, haemorrhage, intestinal haemorrhage, oesophageal haemorrhage, platelet aggregation decreased, ulcer . Penicillin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with GENTAMICIN, CLARITHROMYCIN, AMOXICILLIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, epistaxis, gastric haemorrhage, haemorrhagic diathesis, oesophageal haemorrhage, ulcer . Penicillin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLARITHROMYCIN, AMOXICILLIN TRIHYDRATE, GENTAMICIN. Patient recovered.

Penicillin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLARITHROMYCIN, AMOXICILLIN TRIHYDRATE, GENTAMICIN. Patient recovered.
