Penicillamine side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Feb 13, 2009. Female patient, 70 years of age, was diagnosed with scleroderma
and was treated with Penicillamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody positive vasculitis, glomerulonephritis rapidly progressive, renal failure acute. Penicillamine dosage: 800 MG QD. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
