Penfill Side Effects Report #5048005-4
Penfill side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on June 19, 2006. Male patient, 61 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with insulin-requiring type ii diabetes mellitus, hypertension, anaemia, gastritis and was treated with Penfill. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, blood immunoglobulin e increased, hepatic encephalopathy, injection site induration, rash . Penfill dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MILFADIN, FOLIAMIN, ADONA, RIKAVARIN, RADEN, AMOBAN, NORVASC. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anti-gad antibody positive, anti-islet cell antibody positive, blood glucose increased, injection site induration, injection site reaction, insulin resistance, pyrexia, upper respiratory tract inflammation. Penfill dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LANTUS, METFORMIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
