Penfill side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from JAPAN on Jan 29, 2008. Female patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus, ulcer , prophylaxis, anaemia and was treated with Penfill. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastric ulcer, neutrophil count decreased, white blood cell count decreased. Penfill dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TAKEPRON, BUFFERIN, LASIX, ALDACTONE, MUCOSTA, FERROMIA. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastric ulcer, neutrophil count decreased, upper respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection , white blood cell count decreased. Penfill dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LANSOPRAZOLE, BUFFERIN, LASIX, SPIRONOLACTONE, MUCOSTA, FERROMIA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
