Penfill side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Oct 05, 2005. Male patient, 50 years of age, weighting 163.1 lb, was diagnosed with insulin-requiring type ii diabetes mellitus and was treated with Penfill. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anti-gad antibody positive, anti-islet cell antibody positive, blood glucose increased, injection site induration, injection site reaction, insulin resistance, pyrexia, upper respiratory tract inflammation. Penfill dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LANTUS, METFORMIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
