Pegvisomant side effect was reported by a Physician from PORTUGAL on Mar 17, 2009. Female patient was diagnosed with acromegaly and was treated with Pegvisomant. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, back pain
, dizziness
, musculoskeletal stiffness, myalgia, oedema peripheral, somnolence, tongue oedema. Pegvisomant dosage: 10 MG, 1X/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with PARLODEL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
