Pegintron side effect was reported by a Physician from PORTUGAL on July 01, 2008. Male patient, 27 years of age, weighting 160.9 lb, was diagnosed with hepatitis c  and was treated with Pegintron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diabetic ketoacidosis, dyspnoea, hypotension, type 1 diabetes mellitus. Pegintron dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with REBETOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
