Male patient, 47 years of age, weighting 180.0 lb, was diagnosed with hepatitis c  and was treated with Peginterferon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dysstasia, exercise capacity decreased, eye irritation, fatigue, pain , photophobia, vision blurred, visual disturbance, vitreous floaters. Peginterferon dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RIBAVIRIN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiogenic shock, cardiomegaly, cardiomyopathy , dilatation ventricular, ejection fraction decreased, fatigue, neutropenia, pleural effusion, weight decreased. Peginterferon dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PEGINTERFERON ALFA, INTERFERON ALFA, RIBAVIRIN. Patient died on 07/01/2003.
