Pazopanib and cardiac arrest Patient Reports February 11, 2012

Pazopanib Side Effects Report #6015905-8
Pazopanib side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED KINGDOM on Dec 17, 2008. Male patient, 49 years of age, weighting 178.4 lb, was diagnosed with malignant glioma, convulsion, fatigue, prophylaxis against gastrointestinal ulcer, headache  and was treated with Pazopanib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , circulatory collapse, dyspnoea, fatigue, hypoxia, nausea , pulmonary embolism , sinus tachycardia, syncope. Pazopanib dosage: 600MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with LAPATINIB, PHENYTOIN, TEGRETOL, DEXAMETHASONE, ONDANSETRON, CODEINE PHOSPHATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 12/15/2008.
