Paraplatin Side Effects Report #4955680-9
Paraplatin side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Jan 24, 2006. Female patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with uterine cancer  and was treated with Paraplatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anuria, dialysis , neutrophil count decreased, platelet count decreased, renal failure, supraventricular tachycardia, white blood cell count decreased. Paraplatin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TAXOL, CALBLOCK, TENORMIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 44 years of age, was diagnosed with lymphoma  and was treated with Paraplatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac tamponade, haemodialysis, malignant neoplasm progression, renal failure, shock. Paraplatin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VEPESID, ENDOXAN, CYMERIN, MAXIPIME, RITUXAN, PRODIF, HEMATOPOETIC PROGENITOR CELLS. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient died on 01/23/2005.

Patient died on 03/31/2006.
