Palifermin Side Effects Report #5122698-5
Palifermin side effect was reported by a Physician from BELGIUM on July 19, 2006. Female patient, weighting 165.3 lb, was diagnosed with peripheral blood stem cell apheresis and was treated with Palifermin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bacteraemia, burning sensation, capillary leak syndrome, febrile neutropenia, fluid retention, hypersensitivity, mucosal inflammation, rash , stomatitis. Palifermin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CARMUSTINE, ETOPOSIDE, CYTARABINE, METHOTREXATE, MELPHALAN, CISPLATIN, NEUPOGEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diarrhoea, mucosal inflammation, mucosal membrane hyperplasia, nasopharyngeal disorder, rash erythematous, salivary hypersecretion, skin hyperpigmentation. Palifermin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MEPRAL. Patient recovered.
