Palifermin Side Effects Report #4918434-5
Palifermin side effect was reported by a Physician from SWITZERLAND on Feb 10, 2006. Male patient, weighting 136.7 lb, was diagnosed with peripheral blood stem cell apheresis and was treated with Palifermin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: adenocarcinoma, ascites, constipation , disease progression, metastases to lung, peritoneal carcinoma, weight decreased. Palifermin dosage: unknown. Patient died on 01/29/2006.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: adenocarcinoma, ascites, constipation , disease progression, metastases to liver, metastases to lung, muscular weakness, peritoneal carcinoma, vomiting. Palifermin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BACTRIM DS, VALTREX, IMMUNOGLOBULINS, VALACYCLOVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/29/2006.

Palifermin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Nov 14, 2005. Male patient, weighting 194.0 lb, was diagnosed with mucosal inflammation and was treated with Palifermin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, candidiasis, disease progression, disseminated intravascular coagulation, febrile neutropenia, graft versus host disease, hodgkin's disease , hyperglycaemia, hypotension. Palifermin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FILGRASTIM, ETOPOSIDE, CYTOXAN, ALBUTEROL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/15/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, candidiasis, disease progression, disseminated intravascular coagulation, erythema multiforme, febrile neutropenia, hodgkin's disease , hyperglycaemia, hypoxia. Palifermin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FILGRASTIM, ETOPOSIDE, CYTOXAN, ALBUTEROL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 11/15/2005.
