Pacerone Side Effects Report #5932140-X
Pacerone side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Oct 27, 2008. Male patient, 77 years of age, weighting 220.0 lb, was diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia and was treated with Pacerone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest discomfort, pulmonary toxicity, pyrexia, upper respiratory tract infection. Pacerone dosage: 800 MG 400 BID X- 14 DAYS PO; 200 MG 200 HS PO. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 69 years of age, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Pacerone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , cough, dyspnoea, pneumonia , pulmonary toxicity, visual impairment. Pacerone dosage: 400 MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with LOTENSIN, MEVACOR, CARDURA, DIGOXIN, SYNTHROID, CLARITIN, TYLENOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 51 years of age, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Pacerone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: interstitial lung disease, pneumonia , pulmonary fibrosis , pulmonary toxicity, weight decreased. Pacerone dosage: 300 MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with CORDARONE, LASIX, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, COUMADIN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, dyspnoea, pulmonary toxicity. Pacerone dosage: 200 MG, QD, PO. Patient died on 12/31/2004.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pulmonary toxicity. Pacerone dosage: 200 MG, QD, PO. During the same period patient was treated with COUMADIN, IMDUR, COZAAR, TENORMIN, ALLOPURINOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, laboratory test abnormal, pneumonia , pulmonary haemorrhage, pulmonary toxicity, rash , skin haemorrhage. Pacerone dosage: 200 MG DAILY PO. Patient died on 10/18/2006.
