Pacerone Side Effects Report #5005814-5
Pacerone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on May 17, 2006. Male patient, 83 years of age, weighting 175.0 lb, was diagnosed with cardiac disorder and was treated with Pacerone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depressed level of consciousness, dyspnoea, inflammation, lung disorder, pneumonia , po2 decreased, post procedural complication, pulmonary fibrosis . Pacerone dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 03/31/2006.

Male patient, 69 years of age, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Pacerone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , cough, dyspnoea, pneumonia , pulmonary toxicity, visual impairment. Pacerone dosage: 400 MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with LOTENSIN, MEVACOR, CARDURA, DIGOXIN, SYNTHROID, CLARITIN, TYLENOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 51 years of age, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Pacerone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: interstitial lung disease, pneumonia , pulmonary fibrosis , pulmonary toxicity, weight decreased. Pacerone dosage: 300 MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with CORDARONE, LASIX, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, COUMADIN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, laboratory test abnormal, pneumonia , pulmonary haemorrhage, pulmonary toxicity, rash , skin haemorrhage. Pacerone dosage: 200 MG DAILY PO. Patient died on 10/18/2006.
