Pacerone Side Effects Report #5453491-1
Pacerone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 04, 2007. Female patient, 79 years of age, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation , chest pain , cardiac failure congestive and was treated with Pacerone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood sodium decreased, dyspnoea, fatigue, heart rate decreased, hypotension, muscular weakness, nausea . Pacerone dosage: 200 MG, QD, PO. During the same period patient was treated with RANEXA, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, ISOSORBIDE MONONITRATE, ZOCOR, PLAVIX, PRILOSEC, ZESTORETIC, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 77 years of age, weighting 149.0 lb, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Pacerone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, atrial fibrillation , diplopia, dizziness , feeling abnormal, hypotension, tremor. Pacerone dosage: 400 MG - 100MG DAILY. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Pacerone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspiration, atrial fibrillation , hypotension, ileus, inflammation, interstitial lung disease, loss of consciousness, nosocomial infection. Pacerone dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/04/2006.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose decreased, cardiac failure, catheter related infection, cerebrovascular accident, dialysis , hypotension, loss of consciousness, renal impairment, urinary tract infection . Pacerone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with KETEK, FUROSEMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/11/2005.
