Oxytocin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Apr 14, 2005. Female patient, 21 years of age, was diagnosed with labour stimulation, blood magnesium decreased, blood potassium decreased, gitelman's syndrome and was treated with Oxytocin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: artificial rupture of membranes, blood pressure increased, caesarean section, foetal acidosis, foetal distress syndrome, foetal heart rate disorder, normal newborn, pregnancy What is  pregnancy. Oxytocin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MAGNESIUM, SANDO K, FOLIC ACID, FERROUS SULPHATE, SPIRONOLACTONE, PROSTINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Oxytocin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Sept 22, 2008. Female patient, 20 years of age, weighting 182.1 lb, was diagnosed with caesarean section and was treated with Oxytocin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, chills. Oxytocin dosage: 125 ML/HR ONCE IV DRIP. Patient recovered.
