Oxcarbazepine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Dec 22, 2008. Male patient, 18 years of age, weighting 165.0 lb, was diagnosed with partial seizures and was treated with Oxcarbazepine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aura, convulsion, partial seizures. Oxcarbazepine dosage: 600 MG TWICE A DAY PO. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: fatigue, feeling abnormal, partial seizures, product quality issue. Oxcarbazepine dosage: 750 MG/DAY -300 A.M., 450 P.M. BID PO. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with CARBAMAZEPINE, VIGABATRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
