Oxcarbazepine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 20, 2005. Female patient, 16 years of age, weighting 214.0 lb, was diagnosed with mood swings and was treated with Oxcarbazepine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: eyelid oedema, oedema peripheral, rash , rash papular, rash pruritic, swelling. Oxcarbazepine dosage: 300 MG PO BID (8 DOSES). During the same period patient was treated with ISONIAZID. Patient recovered.

Oxcarbazepine dosage: 600 MG; BID; 300 MG; BID. During the same period patient was treated with DIVALPROEX, CLONAZEPAM, METFORMIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
