Oxcarbazepine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 07, 2006. Male patient, child 10 years of age, was diagnosed with partial seizures and was treated with Oxcarbazepine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, bone disorder, exercise tolerance decreased, growth retardation, hypothyroidism, thyroxine free decreased. Oxcarbazepine dosage: 300 MG, BID. Patient recovered.

Female patient, child 8 years of age, was diagnosed with convulsion, glaucoma  and was treated with Oxcarbazepine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alopecia, dry skin, epilepsy , fatigue, hair texture abnormal, headache , hypothyroidism, overweight, temperature intolerance. Oxcarbazepine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT, TOPIRAMATE, DORZOLAMIDE HYDROCHLORIDE W. Patient recovered.
