Oxandrin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 23, 2007. Male patient, 78 years of age, weighting 176.0 lb, was diagnosed with decreased appetite and was treated with Oxandrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, blood creatinine, dehydration, hyperkalaemia, oedema peripheral, oral intake reduced, renal failure, urine output decreased. Oxandrin dosage: 10 MG PO BID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 58 years of age, weighting 201.0 lb, was diagnosed with decreased appetite and was treated with Oxandrin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cough, epistaxis, fluid overload, oedema peripheral, pain in extremity, weight increased. Oxandrin dosage: 2.5 MG; BID; PO. During the same period patient was treated with POTASSIUM ACETATE, MAGNESIUM, ATIVAN, LISINOPRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
