Oxacillin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on July 20, 2005. Female patient, 46 years of age, was diagnosed with intervertebral discitis, staphylococcal infection
, gastroduodenal ulcer and was treated with Oxacillin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agranulocytosis, alanine aminotransferase increased, anaemia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, hypersplenism. Oxacillin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OFLOCET, GENTAMYCIN SULPHATE, GENTAMYCIN SULPHATE, LOVENOX, OMEPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. , fibrin d dimer increased, liver injury, overdose. Oxacillin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with GENTAMICIN, KALETRA, ABACAVIR, TENOFOVIR, CEFEPIME, VANCOMYCIN, RIFAMPIN, CEFAZOLIN. Patient died.
