Orfidal Side Effects Report #5764751-9
Orfidal side effect was reported by a Health Professional from SPAIN on June 02, 2008. Female patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with disorientation, alcohol detoxification, bipolar disorder
and was treated with Orfidal. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase increased, confusional state, hypernatraemia, metabolic acidosis, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, pyrexia. Orfidal dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with HALOPERIDOL, LITHIUM CARBONATE, ANTABUSE, ETUMINA, VANDRAL RETARD, AKINETON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
