Female patient, child 9 years of age, weighting 83.78 lb, was diagnosed with tyrosinaemia and was treated with Orfadin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, dehydration, electroencephalogram abnormal, gastroenteritis , gastrointestinal haemorrhage, metabolic disorder , oesophagitis. Orfadin dosage: 20 MILLIGRAM TWICE DAILY ORAL. Patient recovered.
