Opana side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Jan 11, 2008. Male patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with pain  and was treated with Opana. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, breakthrough pain, convulsion, malaise, muscle disorder , nausea , tinnitus . Opana dosage: 40 MG, 1 TABLET TID. During the same period patient was treated with LIDODERM, OXYCODONE AND ACETAMINOPHEN, ACIPHEX, LUNESTA. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 48 years of age, weighting 170.0 lb, was diagnosed with pain , breakthrough pain and was treated with Opana. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, hallucination, insomnia, nightmare. Opana dosage: 40 MG BID. During the same period patient was treated with METHADONE, RESTORIL, ATIVAN. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: altered state of consciousness, asthenia, convulsion, gait disturbance, motor dysfunction, pain . Opana dosage: 20 MG;Q12;PO, 10 MG;BID;PO. During the same period patient was treated with OPANA ER, OPANA ER, OPANA ER, ENDOCET, RITALIN. Patient recovered.

Patient died on 03/01/2007.
