Ondansetron side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Jan 19, 2008. Female patient, 44 years of age, was diagnosed with prophylaxis of nausea and vomiting and was treated with Ondansetron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: extrapyramidal disorder, hyperhidrosis, hyperventilation, oculogyric crisis, tetany. Ondansetron dosage: 8 MG; IV. During the same period patient was treated with MIDAZOLAM, PROPOFOL, FENTANYL, SUXAMETHONIUM CHLORIDE, ISOFLURANE, HYDROMORPHONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
