Ondansetron Side Effects Report #5963949-4
Ondansetron side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from INDIA on Nov 11, 2008. Female patient, 14 years of age, was diagnosed with vomiting and was treated with Ondansetron. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiogenic shock, crepitations, depressed level of consciousness, dizziness , ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia. Ondansetron dosage: 4 MG / UNK / INTRAMUSCULAR. During the same period patient was treated with ANTACID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

During the same period patient was treated with TYKERB, XELODA, VERAPAMIL, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, FLUOXETINE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient recovered.

Ondansetron dosage: 4MG ONCE IV. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 12/03/2008.
