Oncaspar side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Apr 17, 2008. Male patient, child 7 years of age, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Oncaspar. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral haemorrhage. Oncaspar dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

Female patient, child 7 years of age, weighting 48.50 lb, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Oncaspar. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bacterial infection What is  bacterial infection, cardiopulmonary failure, cerebral haemorrhage, chest tube insertion, eye pain, febrile neutropenia, headache What is  headache, hypotension, pneumothorax. Oncaspar dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VINCRISTINE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, MERCAPTOPURINE, CYTARABINE. Patient died on 09/15/2003.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, blood fibrinogen decreased, brain injury, cerebral haemorrhage, convulsion, deep vein thrombosis What is  deep vein thrombosis, platelet count decreased, prothrombin time prolonged, superior sagittal sinus thrombosis. Oncaspar dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with GLEEVEC. Patient died.

During the same period patient was treated with METHOTREXATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 03/03/2009.
