Female patient, child 7 years of age, weighting 48.50 lb, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Oncaspar. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bacterial infection , cardiopulmonary failure, cerebral haemorrhage, chest tube insertion, eye pain, febrile neutropenia, headache , hypotension, pneumothorax. Oncaspar dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VINCRISTINE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, MERCAPTOPURINE, CYTARABINE. Patient died on 09/15/2003.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, blood fibrinogen decreased, brain injury, cerebral haemorrhage, convulsion, deep vein thrombosis , platelet count decreased, prothrombin time prolonged, superior sagittal sinus thrombosis. Oncaspar dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with GLEEVEC. Patient died.
