Male patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with nasal cavity cancer and was treated with Omnipaque. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, cerebral infarction, depressed level of consciousness, electromechanical dissociation, intestinal ischaemia, melaena, oxygen saturation decreased, respiratory arrest, shock. Omnipaque dosage: 80 ML, SINGLE DOSE, I.V.. During the same period patient was treated with ENALAPRIL MALEATE, INDERAL, IFENPRODIL TARTRATE, ADALAT. Patient recovered.

Omnipaque dosage: 147 ML ONE TIME PO. Patient died on 07/08/2005.
