Olanzapine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Jan 24, 2006. Female patient, 62 years of age, was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was treated with Olanzapine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , coma, hepatic function abnormal, hypokalaemia, hypoxic encephalopathy, long qt syndrome, lower respiratory tract infection, renal impairment, staphylococcal sepsis. Olanzapine dosage: 15 MG, DAILY (1/D). During the same period patient was treated with AMISULPRIDE, OMEPRAZOLE, ZOPICLONE, SERETIDE, TIOTROPIUM BROMIDE, FUSIDIC ACID, FLUCLOXACILLIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 09/30/2005.
