Ofloxacin Side Effects Report #5512699-7
Ofloxacin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from TURKEY on Oct 22, 2007. Female patient, 50 years of age, was diagnosed with pyelonephritis acute and was treated with Ofloxacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood gases abnormal, cogwheel rigidity, confusional state, depressed level of consciousness, disorientation, dysphagia, echolalia, echopraxia, hallucination. Ofloxacin dosage: (400 MG QD INTRAVENOUS). Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood gases abnormal, cogwheel rigidity, confusional state, depressed level of consciousness, disorientation, dysphagia, echolalia, echopraxia, irritability. Ofloxacin dosage: (400 MG QD). Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Ofloxacin side effect was reported by a Physician from on Jan 31, 2005. Female patient, 53 years of age, was diagnosed with abdominal pain  and was treated with Ofloxacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, depressed level of consciousness, disseminated intravascular coagulation, dizziness , headache , liver disorder, nausea . Ofloxacin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VOLTAREN, PRIMPERAN. Patient died on 01/22/2005.
