Octreotide side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Feb 11, 2009. Female patient, 32 years of age, was diagnosed with stem cell transplant and was treated with Octreotide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: caesarean section, cardiopulmonary failure, disease progression, gastrointestinal obstruction, hypertension, interstitial lung disease, normal newborn, pericarditis. Octreotide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ENOXAPARIN, ERYTHROMYCIN, AMLODIPINE, WARFARIN, BETAMETHASONE. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: caesarean section, normal newborn. Octreotide dosage: 0.1 MG, ONCE/SINGLE. During the same period patient was treated with OCTREOTIDE ACETATE, OCTREOTIDE ACETATE, METOPROLOL SUCCINATE. Patient recovered.
