Octreotide side effect was reported by a Physician from KOREA, REPUBLIC OF on Nov 11, 2008. Male patient, 57 years of age, was diagnosed with small cell carcinoma, pancreatic carcinoma metastatic and was treated with Octreotide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abdominal pain , malignant neoplasm progression, pulmonary embolism . Octreotide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OCTREOTIDE ACETATE, GEMCITABINE. Patient died.
