Octreotide side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Nov 23, 2005. Female patient, weighting 12.35 lb, was diagnosed with gastrointestinal motility disorder and was treated with Octreotide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood bilirubin increased, hepatic enzyme increased, hepatic failure. Octreotide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ERYTHROMYCIN ETHYLSUCCINATE, ZANTAC, DEXTRAN, LEVOCANITINE IN TPN, NEOCATE WITH IRON, ALDACTAZIDE, BUDESONIDE. Patient died on 10/30/2005.

During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT, GLIPIZIDE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, METOPROLOL, LOSARTAN POSTASSIUM, SYNTHROID, VITAMINS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
